No.5

Recently drained, dug out and refilled No.5 has seen itself part of a project to stock pure Crucian Carp from the E.A.

 

Having the luxury of an empty pond, we were able to negotiate with the E.A. to provide us 100% Crucian Carp. along with a small number of Tench. Since it's initial stock, we have ourselves added over 1000 Rudd, Roach and Skimmers.

No.5 can be found towards the end of the Cinder Track near Broadhurst Manor, and is set back off the lane, making it ideal for some peace and quiet.

​

A nice alternative to carp fishing, No.5 offers a nice mixture of species and very enjoyable on light tackle. Sweetcorn and small pellets have proven successful with the Tench, Bream and better sized fish.

Holding about 13 swims, No.5 has now seen itself back on the match schedule.
